Working My First NYFW Event

Happy Sunday loves! Today I have a very exciting story to share with all of you. As you all know, last week was New York Fashion Week which means all the important people of the fashion world were breathing the same air as me lol. I got an amazing opportunity through my school to get to work an attend a fashion week event. It was the company Art ❤️’s Fashion and the show was for up and coming designers from all over the world including Egypt and Colombia.
Feliz domingo amores! Ahora tengo una historia muy emocionante que contarles. Como ya saben, la semana de moda fue la semana pasada aquà en Nueva York asà que toda la gente más importante de la moda estaban respirando el mismo aire que yo jaja. Tuve una oportunidad increÃble, gracias a mi escuela, de trabajar y asistir un event de la semana de moda. Fue con la compañÃa Art ❤️’s Fashion y el show era para diseñadores nuevos de todas partes del mundo incluyendo Egipto y Colombia.
I mainly assisted with checking in attendees such as photographers, bloggers, and friends of the designers. As well as setting up the seating near the runway. At one point I got to see the designers and models working together up close, which was overwhelming but an amazing experience. Seeing how much work goes into a show made me admire (even more than I already do) everyone involved in the fashion world. Seeing the makeup artists and designers come together to create an image was so inspirational. While I have to admit there was a lot of stress and yelling involved I think ultimately the experience was super worth it.
Principalmente ayude a chequear la gente atendiendo el evento como bloggeras, fotógrafos, y amigos de los diseñadores. También ayude a prepara los asientos cerca de la pasarela. En un punto de la noche tuve la oportunidad de ir entre bastidores para ayudar a las modelos. La experiencia fue abrumadora pero increÃble. Ver cuánto trabajo require los eventos de moda me hizo admirar (más de lo que ya admiraba) a toda la gente involucrada en el mundo de la moda. Ver a las maquiladoras y los diseñadores unirse para crear una imagen fue bien inspirador. Pero, también tengo que admitir que hubo bastante estrés y gritos involucrados pero al final la experiencia valió la pena.
Después de ayudar a preparar el evento los organizadores fueron generosos y nos permitieron sentarnos a ver el programa. Fue tan surreal ver los diseños llegar a la vida en las modelos. Estoy muy agradecida por la oportunidad y no me aguanto para poder asistir otros eventos en el futuro! Gracias por el apoyo siempre!
