My Favorite Body Positive Bloggers

Hello beautiful fans of Virtually Vogue! I know it has been a while, but I had decided to focus on just Instagram content for a while. I am back now, however, because I really missed writing. So I decided to put an official list of some of my favorite body positive bloggers who inspire me on the daily so that you can also follow along. If some of your favorites aren't on here, make sure to send them to me so I can start following! And as always thank you so much for all of the support.
Hola a mis lindos seguidores de Virtually Vogue! Yo se que ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que he escrito para mi pagina, pero por un tiempo decidí enfocarme en mi pagina de instagram. Pero he realizado que extraño escribir aquí así que estoy de regreso. Ahora decidí juntar una lista de mis bloggeras que están empujando para el amor propio a cualquier talla para que ustedes pueden seguir a otras que comparten mis ideales. I discovered Sarah's blog, Sassy Red Lipstick, a few years ago and it was one of the most inspiring moments for me as a blogger. Not only does her blog focus on empowering the "in-between" woman, which is what I consider myself, but she also lives in my hometown of San Francisco so I really felt seen through the content she posted. She has incredible style and is constantly posting tips on how to love and appreciate your body at any size along with relationship advice for dating as a curvy girl.
Yo descubrí el blog de Sarah, Sassy Red Lipstick, hace unos años y fue uno de los momentos que mas me ha inspirado como bloggera. Su blog se enfoca en las mujeres que están "en medio" en el mundo de las tallas, lo cual es lo que yo me considero, y también vive en la cuidad adonde yo crecí (San Francisco) así que todas sus fotos me hacen sentir en comunidad. Su estilo es increíble y siempre esta publicando entradas sobre amar y apreciar tu cuerpo a cualquier talla y también consejos para como encontrar amor cuando eres una mujer más gruesa/con curvas.
If you know anything at all about the blogging world or body positivity in fashion, then you must know who the iconic Gabi Fresh is. She considers herself the "OG Fat Girl" and has even one of the most influential members of the plus size blogging community which has led her to now be the proud creator of her own lingerie, swimsuit, and clothing line all for plus size women. Her style is unmatched and her unapologetic love for her body has truly changed so many women lives, including my own.
Si saben algo sobre las bloggeras en los Estados Unidos o del movimiento para la positividad corporal en el mundo de la moda, deben saber quien es la icónica Gabi Fresh. Ella se considera la "original muchacha gorda" y ha sido una de las mujeres más influyentes en la comunidad de las bloggeras de talla grande y ahora es la creadora de su propia línea de ropa interior, traje de baño, y ropa para mujeres de talla grande. El estilo de ella es único y su manera de amar su cuerpo sin remordimientos le ha cambiado la vida a muchas mujeres, incluyéndome a mi.

I don't even know where to start with Paloma except to say she is the queen of aesthetics and has served as one of my biggest role models for understanding that every body can be high fashion. She technically isn't a blogger and works as a model, but her instagram presence is still admirable and her push for conversations about inclusivity have had a huge influence on the fashion industry. She is stunning and her way of using her style as a creative outlet really inspires me to push boundaries with my own style.
Yo no se ni por donde comenzar con Paloma excepto decir que ella es la reina de las estéticas y ha sido uno de mis ejemplos mas grandes para entender que todo tipo de cuerpo puede modelar alta costura. Ella técnicamente no es una bloggera y trabaja como modelo, pero su presencia en instagram es admirable y su dedicación a tener conversaciones sobre la inclusividad ha tenido una gran influencia sobre el mundo de la moda. Ella es lindisima y su manera de utilizar el estilo como un enchufe de creatividad me inspira a salir fuera de mi zona de confort con mi propio estilo.

I discovered Vanessa by chance on my Instagram explore page and instantly fell in love with everything she stood for. For any of my fellow Latina's who grew up watching Univision, Vanessa is currently competing on Nuestra Belleza Latina (which let me just say, rocked my world when I found out because I had never seen anyone remotely close to my size competing in a modeling competition especially one I grew up watching). Para mis Latinas que crecieron viendo Univision con sus familias, Vanessa ahorita esta compitiendo en Nuestra Belleza Latina (lo cual les tengo que decir me cambio la vida porque nunca había visto a alguien de una talla similar a la mía modelando en una competencia especialmente una que yo crecí viendo). Thamarr is a stunning body positive fashion blogger from Florida who is obsessed with all things Parisian, colorful, and flirty. In her own words her blog started as her, "personal way to rebel against the rules of fashion and society by doing something radical and revolutionary: loving myself and the body that I have and styling it well." I'm personally obsessed with her style because I feel like it's very similar to mine and she just rocks everything she wears with some much confidence. Seeing her photos always make me smile because she looks so happy and full of life.
Thamarr es una bloggera positiva de moda que esta obsesionada con todas las cosas Parisinas, llenas de color, y coquetas. En sus propias palabras su blog empezó como, "su manera personal de rebelar contra las reglas de moda y la sociedad haciendo algo radical y revolucionario: amarme a mi mismo y el cuerpo que tengo y vestirlo bien." En lo personal estoy obsesionada con su estilo porque siento que es muy similar al mío y se ve bien en todo lo que se pone porque lo viste con confianza. Nabela is a stunning, Bangladeshi-American beauty blogger who uses her artistry and love for fashion to inspire women to break through the beauty standards imposed on us. I began watching her makeup videos a few years back and remember loving how funny and creative she was and how she seemed to fully embrace the way she looked which at the time felt so foreign to me. Her platform has grown immensely and she continues to post about beauty and fashion as well as inter-racial relationships and how to fight back against fat shaming.
Nabela es una reina, de identidad Bangladeshi-Americana y bloggera de belleza/maquillaje que usa su arte y amor por la moda par inspirar a las mujeres a pelear contra los estándares de la belleza que la sociedad impone. Yo empece a ver sus videos de maquillaje hace unos años y me acuerdo estar tan fascinada con su manera de ser tan chistosa y creativa. Y también la manera en cual ella completamente aceptaba y apreciaba como se veía, lo cual era una idea tan extranjera para mi en esa época de mi vida. Su plataforma ha crecido inmensamente y ella continua a publicar sobre maquillaje, moda, y también las relaciones interracial y como combatir el odio contra ser gordo.
