If you like the series Sex and The City, then you will like the movie. It's like watching a two hours and twenty minutes episode of the series. Newcomers however, may find a bit difficult to warm to the characters and can be mistaken when referring to characters in the series. (Not being in the movie)

Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattral), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) are back in all its glory, as we remember them in the series. Samantha as sex crazy old friend Carrie, Miranda and preppy lawyer, Charlotte Goody as "doing good", and Carrie, who is a bit of all. All our favorite gay buddies are back, and a surprise appearance by American Idol / Dream Girl Jennifer Hudson as Carrie's assistant. Designer clothes and Manolo Blahnik also back to our delight!

Directed by Michael Patrick King, the movie begins four years after the road from the last episode, an American Girl in Paris: Part Deux. Carrie is in a committed relationship with Mr. Big, Samantha has been established in Los Angeles with her boyfriend, model Smith, Charlotte is happily married to her furry soul mate Harry, along with their adopted Asian daughter Rose, and Miranda and Steve still together with a son. Everything seems perfect for the ladies, and therefore, the stage is set for trouble.

Carrie is the star of the show, and much of the film revolves around her and the wedding of Mr. Big, or lack of. However, sufficient attention is given to Samantha who is committed unfortunately growing baby shock Charlotte, and Miranda and Steve's marital problems. There are some memorable moments, including: a hilarious scene involving the lower regions of Miranda, a sexy scene shower with a full male frontal © risque, a photo shoot for Vogue, Cosmopolitan's return, and Samantha naked covered from head to toe in sushi. And, of course there is sex, sex and more sex!

The plot is weak, making things drag a bit in the middle, but overall, this movie is a good time Guaranteed!
